BREMEN – Linda Joyce Neal, 85, of Bremen, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 6:14 p.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Ms. Neal was born June 17, 1937, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and attended Shaver’s Chapel. She enjoyed being at home, reading, and cooking for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Neal; parents, Tommy and Mary Vanover; four sisters, Dorothy Stroud, Jessie Johnson, Gertie Conway, and Edna McCoy; and two brothers, Tommy Vanover, Jr., and Carlos Vanover.
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Lisa) Vanover; granddaughter, Larissa (Andy) Cooper; and great-granddaughter, Kylie Cooper.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial in Gish Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
