
James V. “Jimmy” Alexander, age 80 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away August 8, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Irvington, KY on January 8, 1942, son of the late Arthur and Hallie Rose Mills Alexander. Jimmy retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer, a fan of BCHS basketball and UK sports, especially basketball. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Darryl Alexander.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Nancy Alexander of Hardinsburg, KY
2 daughters – Sheila (Marty) Stinnett of McDaniels, KY and Beth Alexander of Louisville, KY
1 son – Brad (Lisa) Alexander of Brandenburg, KY
5 grandsons – Matthew (Jamie) Stinnett, Benjamin (Brittney) Stinnett, Jeremiah Stinnett (Erika), Alex (Chelsey) Luce and Andrew Luce
7 great-grandchildren – Kenzie, Lily, Nehemiah, Isabelle, Lucy, Axel and Cooper
2 brothers – Vick (Sue) Alexander of Vine Grove, KY and Bruce (Patti) Alexander of Irvington, KY
1 sister – Rosemary (Dennis) Cornett of Bowling Green, KY
Funeral services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Wednesday at 1 PM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
