
Chester “Chuck” Scott Hardin, age 66 of Kingswood, KY passed away July 1, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Germany on September 1, 1955, son of the late William Cilian and Hazel Frank Henninger Hardin. Chuck was a member of Kingswood Wesleyan Church and retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department. He was very creative with his hands and his mind. He carved knives, made birdhouses, collected coins and Indian artifacts. He told funny stories and kept everyone laughing. He played the harmonica and was an extremely funny man. His greatest asset was that he was kind to everyone and very much a gentleman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Billie Meier, Jack Hardin, Jenny Lou Snavely, George Hardin and Nannette Bates.
Chuck is survived by his son Scott Hardin (Angel Donahue) of Kingswood, KY
brothers: Larry (Deloris) Hardin of Kingswood, KY and Johnny (Sonya) Hardin of Hardinsburg, KY
sister: Jane (Royce) Mabe of Kingswood, KY
many nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12 PM with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Wednesday.
