GREENVILLE, KY., Brother Terry Lynn Groves, 76, of Greenville went on to be with the Lord on Monday, May 30, 2022 in his home in Greenville. He was surrounded by his loved ones, as he was in life. He was born in Graham on January 23, 1946. He was a beloved Dad, Papaw, Great-Papaw, husband, and friend. Brother Terry was grateful to be a faithful servant of God, and pastored in the community for 42 years. A Vietnam veteran, he and his wife of 55 years Connie traveled the world before coming home to Greenville with their three children Teresa (Troy McGehee), Jenni, and Terry Jr. (Teresa Gail).
He was preceded in death by his parents Waverly and Avanell Groves, his 3 sisters Barbara, Frainkie, and Bonnie, his brother Lloyd.
He cherished, and was cherished by, his family and his dog Peanut. He had 5 grandchildren Jordan (Shari Ford), Courtney, Caitlynn, MacKensie (Vince Vincent), and Seth,4 great grandchildren Tanius, Cooper, Tobi, and Blakely.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY officiated by Rev. Autry Moore. Burial will follow in Graham Hill Cemetery in Graham, KY.
