The Owensboro Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 2200 block of W. 9th Street. An adult female suffered was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The call for a possible shooting came in before 11 a.m., according to OPD Public Information Officer Andrew Boggess.
