The annual Chamber Celebration returns to the RiverPark Center at 6 p.m. Friday, honoring local businesses, nonprofits and leaders in several categories for their contributions to the community.
“We are so excited about this,” said Candance Castlen Brake, CEO/President of the Chamber of Commerce. “We had to delay it (because of the pandemic). In delaying it, now we can have our buffet and not wear a mask and see each other smile. It’s going to be a great night.”
The event, presented by Owensboro Health, will include food provided by Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn. There will also be an exclusive downtown after-party celebration sponsored by German American Bank following the ceremony.
