Larry A. Carman, age 75 of the Hites Run community of Hardinsburg, KY passed away March 3, 2022 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Hites Run on January 29, 1947, the son of the late Carlie Carman and Nellie Tucker Duncan. Larry was a member of Hites Run Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a very energetic, hard worker and retired owner of a wrecker service and body shop. He worked as an equipment operator for many years. He loved his wife, his family and a long relaxing motorcycle ride.

3 stepsons: Rod Bobblitt of Hites Run; Jerrod ‘JR’ Dean of Harrodsburg, KY and Keith (Mandie) Hann of Brownsburg, IN
1 stepdaughter: Dawn Hann of Lebanon, IN
7 grandchildren: Crystal Altstadt; Jason, Jessica and Amanda Carman; Jared and Dylan Winters; Gunner Dean
15 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at Hites Run Baptist Church on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11 AM. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home from 5:30 – 8 PM and Saturday, 8:30 – 10:30 AM.
