Craig Yeast has submitted his resignation as head football coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Yeast has accepted an offer to return to his hometown, family, and friends to continue in education and coaching. Kentucky Wesleyan thanks Craig for his contributions to the football program and we wish he and his family all the best in this next chapter of his life.

During this time of transition, Tyrone Young, current associate head coach/defensive coordinator/recruiting coordinator, has been named acting head football coach.

Coach Young came to Kentucky Wesleyan College in December of 2018 and was named the program’s defensive and recruiting coordinator. Young has nearly a decade of college football coaching experience and has been an integral part of all phases of the Panthers football program since his arrival.

Kentucky Wesleyan looks forward to working with Coach Young in this capacity as the college develops a plan for filling the full-time position for this important leadership role on campus.
